Service Description

Big discoveries start with little hands! Mini Sensory Chefs is a playful, hands-on introduction to the wonderful world of food, designed especially for curious toddlers and their parents or carers. In our 30-minute sessions, little chefs will explore food through colour, texture, smell and taste while getting involved in simple, age-appropriate food preparation. Every session ends with a healthy treat to take home and enjoy together. Expect plenty of messy hands, exciting discoveries and lots of “I did it!” moments. 💛 Our recipes are nut-free and made without refined sugar, and at this stage we focus on assembly-based recipes rather than cooking with heat. This allows children to build confidence and master the foundations they’ll need before progressing into our Kindergarten Chefs Academy. What will your Mini Chef learn? 🥣 Basic kitchen skills — mixing, scooping, pouring, spreading and assembling 🍓 Food exploration — experiencing different colours, textures, smells and tastes 🧠 Following simple sequences — learning “first, next, then” 🤲 Fine motor skills — developing coordination through hands-on food preparation 🌱 Food confidence — repeated, positive and pressure-free experiences with new foods 💛 Independence — encouraging children to take ownership of simple tasks From building their own yoghurt pots and preparing sandwiches to washing and cutting soft fruits with age-appropriate tools, every activity is designed to help children discover that they are capable little cooks. No pressure to eat. No expectation to get it perfect. Just positive experiences, playful learning and a whole lot of fun. And when your Mini Chef is ready for their next adventure, they can progress into Kindergarten Chefs (ages 3–5) and begin developing their cooking skills even further.
