Service Description

Where little helpers become confident young cooks. Our Kindergarten Chefs programme is the exciting first step into The Kids’ Cookery Co. Academy, where children begin moving from simply exploring food to actually making it. Through fun, hands-on recipes designed with the nutritional needs of growing children in mind, our little chefs will mix, measure, roll, spread, chop, assemble and create delicious food — discovering that nutritious food can be colourful, exciting and full of flavour without relying on refined sugar. Parents/carers are required to stay and supervise, but we encourage children to take the lead wherever they can. Our aim is to help every child experience those wonderful “I can do it myself!” moments. What will our Kindergarten Chefs learn? 🥣 Kitchen confidence — learning to use age-appropriate utensils and equipment safely 🔪 Basic food preparation — practising skills such as cutting, chopping, rolling, mixing and spreading 📏 Measuring & early maths — counting, weighing, comparing quantities and learning simple measurements 📖 Recipe skills — learning to follow recipes using words, pictures and simple sequences 🧠 Following instructions — developing concentration, listening and sequencing skills 🍎 Food & nutrition — discovering different ingredients and learning how foods can nourish their growing bodies 🎨 Creativity — making choices, experimenting with ingredients and taking pride in what they create 🤝 Teamwork & confidence — cooking alongside others, sharing equipment and celebrating each other's achievements From colourful veggie pizzas and homemade pizza rolls to fruity muffins and delicious crumble pots, our Kindergarten Chefs make food that is exciting to create, delicious to eat and designed to nourish growing bodies. Along the way, they'll discover new ingredients, build practical kitchen skills and learn that nutritious food can be just as delicious and exciting as their favourite treats. 🏅 And there's more... As they develop, our Kindergarten Chefs will work through fun cooking challenges and achievement badges, allowing us to recognise their individual progress and help them build towards their next set of skills.
